Animate a portrait photo while keeping the shot simple
Use a clear, authorized portrait and describe a small movement. Preserve the source orientation and review faces, hands and identity in the generated clip.
Choose a reference that gives the subject space
A sharp single-person photo with even lighting is a useful starting point. Keep the face visible, leave space around the head and avoid hands covering the eyes or mouth. If the action needs a full body, use a source that already includes it.
Select Follow image or a matching portrait frame before generating. A tightly cropped photo cannot reliably supply missing body details when the subject moves.
A five-second portrait prompt
Try: “The person turns slightly toward the camera, then smiles softly. Gentle breathing, subtle hair movement, locked camera, consistent daylight.”
Begin with one action. Rapid head turns, walking toward the lens, strong camera movement and complicated gestures introduce more opportunities for distortion.
Review the result before sharing
Look at the eyes, teeth, ears and hands across the entire clip. Check whether clothing, background and facial identity change between frames. If they do, reduce motion or choose a clearer source.
Only use real-person photos with the required image and likeness permissions. Results are not guaranteed to preserve identity or anatomy in every frame.
Begin with a five-second take.
